Our Board sets the strategic direction of the CLT, develops and leads our various projects.

We currently have the following openings for board members:

Become A Member

Our Members are the foundation of the organisation and help keep the CLT accountable to the community we serve.

If you like what you see and want to get behind the movement to build Newham’s first Community Land Trust homes, then join E16 CLT and become part of our team. Members get regular updates on progress and can take part in meetings and events (both in person and online). You also have the right to vote for board members at the AGM and to stand as a board member yourself too.

E16 CLT Members Code of Conduct

Adopted: May 2020

All members are expected to:

Uphold the values of E16 CLT and actively work towards our mission to get a regeneration in Custom House that works for everyone and to provide genuinely affordable housing for our community now and in the future.

Abide by the policies and code of conduct of E16 CLT

Act in the best interests of E16 CLT and its membership and by extension, the community of Newham, not for personal gain.

Avoid bringing E16 CLT into disrepute through their actions or behaviour including online or social media.

Celebrate the diversity of our community and encourage participation in E16 CLT from community members regardless of their race, age, sex,  gender, disability, sexuality or religion.

Treat all other members with respect and dignity at all times. During meetings, listen when others are talking and allow room for everyone to speak.
